《中原音韵》声母系统的构拟,历来有不同的看法。或为20母,如罗常培;或为25母,如赵荫棠、王力;或为24母,如陆志韦;或为21母;如杨耐思、宁继福、李新魁、薛凤生。纵使数目相同,其内容也仍有差别。究其原因,主要在于对“照、知、庄”三系的处理。将此三系合而为一者,则为20或21母;分而为二者,则为24或25母(赵荫棠的25母不在此例)。仁者见仁,智者见智,莫衷一是。《中原音韵》的知章庄三系究竟应合一还是应二分,我们认为,既应从《中原音韵》本身的资料所
