INTRODUCTION According to the recommendations of the current ACI-ASCE Committee 352 of the Joint Committee of the American Concrete Society and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ACI-ASCE Committee 352), the results are that the plastic hinge of the beam is produced at the edge of the column (Fig. 1). Plastic dumplings formed at this location often cause two major problems: (1) Reduced strength and stiffness within the joints. (2) In order to limit the degree of strength and stiffness reduction within the node, it is necessary to configure a horizontal reinforcement with high reinforcement ratio in the node.
