Hornby的《翻译研究综合法》一书全面考察了翻译研究的历史和现状,提出将翻译研究作为一门独立学科的建议。本文指出了其成为独立学科的必然性,论述了翻译学的定义,最后探讨了高校翻译学发展中的问题并提出相关建议,希望翻译研究更加深入发展。
Hornby’s Comprehensive Law on Translation Studies comprehensively examines the history and current status of translation studies and puts forward the suggestion that translation studies should be regarded as an independent discipline. This article points out the inevitability of becoming an independent subject, discusses the definition of translation studies, and finally discusses the problems in the development of translation studies in colleges and universities and puts forward relevant suggestions in the hope that translation studies will further develop.
