在信息革命和知识爆炸的21世纪,阅读已成为获取知识和科学技术新信息的一条必不可缺的重要途径。在中学课程标准中,阅读理解是英语学习中的一项重要技能和目的之一。在新课程改革下,英语教学和学习应该以学生为中心,更强调学生自主学习性的培养,学生应该形成自己的学习策略来进行学习。元认知,是一种学会学习的能力,其理论核心强调学生的自主性,使学生能够对自身学习进行自主计划和自我监控,自我调节和评估。成功的阅读理解过程既是一个认知活动过程,也是一个元认知活动过程。
In the 21st century of the information revolution and the explosion of knowledge, reading has become an indispensable and important way to obtain new information and knowledge of science and technology. Reading comprehension is one of the important skills and purposes of English learning among secondary school curriculum standards. Under the new curriculum reform, English teaching and learning should focus on students, emphasize the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability, and students should form their own learning strategies to learn. Metacognition is a learning ability. Its theoretical core emphasizes student autonomy, enabling students to plan and monitor their own self-regulation, self-regulation and evaluation. The process of successful reading comprehension is not only a process of cognitive activity but also a process of metacognitive activity.
