教育家叶圣陶先生曾说过:“文章有很多,是永远都读不完的,与其漫然的瞎读,究不如定了目标来读”。现代教学论也认为,目标、过程以及评价是教学活动的三大支柱,缺少任何一个教学活动都是不完整的。三者是教学活动的基本前提,是设计就教学内容、选择教学方法的重要依据,是评价教学成败的标准。教学活动是一种有目的,有计划的活动,而其目的是立足于教学目标上的,教学目标是指教师通过自己的教学活动所要实现的目的,主要涉及到两个方面,一是针对教师,教师在教学活动结束后,其教学任务也应如期完成;二是针对学生,学生通过参与教师的教学活动在知识、能力、情感等方面按照教师所期望的方向发生了改变,这一个过程就叫实现目标。在教学目标的指引下,教师可以灵活机动进行教学设计,以规定的时间和精力获得最大的教学成果。
