国际建筑材料及结构试验研究实验室联合会(RILEM)混凝土断裂力学委员会主席、瑞士洛桑(Lausanne)工业大学建筑材料研究所教授F.H.维特曼应同济大学黄蕴元教授邀请,目前正在该校讲学。维特曼教授是国际著名的水泥、混凝土材料科学家,长期从事水泥、混凝土微观、细观结构与宏观性能的关系,以及混凝土断裂力学和计算机模拟等方面的研究,具有独特的见解。维特曼教授原在西德慕尼黑(M(?)nch en)大学材料物理系执教,是水泥、混凝土材料科学研究中慕尼黑学派的创始人。维特曼教授在数理化基础学科上造诣很深。以其将基础研究与应用研究巧妙地紧密结合称誉国际,他的研究论文不仅发表于材料方面的刊物,也发表于数理化方面的刊物。维特曼教授这次来华讲学带来了许多宝贵资料,本文摘自维特曼教授主编的《混凝土断裂力学》一书,由吴科如同志翻译。由于篇幅所限,将参考文献舍去,尚希作者、读者见谅。
RILEM Chairman of the Concrete Fracture Mechanics Committee, F.H. Wittmann, professor of building materials at the Lausanne Institute of Technology in Switzerland, invited Professor Huang Yunyuan of Tongji University to give lectures at the university. Professor Wittmann is an internationally renowned scientist in cement and concrete materials. He has long been engaged in the relationship between microscopic, mesoscopic and macroscopic properties of cement and concrete, as well as fracture mechanics and computer simulation of concrete, and has unique insights. Professor Wittman was originally taught at the Department of Materials Physics at the University of München in Munich, Germany. He is the founder of the Munich School of Science in cement and concrete materials. Professor Wittman has a profound knowledge of the fundamentals of mathematics and chemistry. With his skillful combination of basic research and applied research, he has published his research papers not only in materials but also in journals in mathematics and chemistry. Prof. Wittman’s lectures in China brought a lot of valuable information.
