上海嘉宝实业(集团)股份有限公司(以下简称嘉宝公司)的前身是原嘉定县的四家电光源企业——光明灯头总厂、联合灯泡厂、南翔灯泡厂、申华灯泡厂于1990年10月联合组建成的资产一体化、实行集约经营的上海嘉宝照明电器公司.1992年4月,经上海市经委批准,进行股份制试点,改制为上市股份公司,公司更名为上海嘉宝实业股份有限公司.1994年4月,经上海市外资委批准,公司所属的四个灯泡厂(联合、南翔、申华、华美灯泡厂)与美国通用电气公司(简称GE公司)合资,组建通用电气嘉宝照明有限公司.1994年10月,经嘉定区政府批准,以嘉宝公司的全资公司为核心层,以控股、参股公司和契约企业为紧密层、半紧密层、松散层,联合组建成上海嘉宝实业(集团)股份有限公司.
The predecessor of Shanghai Jiabao Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jiabao Company) is the four home appliance light source companies in the former Jiading County - Guangming Lampholders General Factory, United Bulb Factory, Nanxiang Bulb Factory, and Shenhua Bulb Factory in 1990. In October of the same year, Shanghai Jiabao Lighting Electric Co., Ltd., a company with integrated assets and intensive operations, was established. In April 1992, with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal Economic Commission, the stock system was piloted and restructured into a listed company. The company was renamed Shanghai Jiabao Industrial Co., Ltd. Co., Ltd. In April 1994, approved by the Shanghai Foreign Investment Commission, the company’s four bulb factories (United, Nanxiang, Shenhua, and Huayuan Bulb Factory) and the United States General Electric Company (GE) were jointly established to form a common company. In October 1994, approved by the Jiading District Government, the wholly-owned company of Jiabao was the core layer, and the controlling, joint-stock companies and contract companies were tight, semi-intense and loose layers. The group was established in Shanghai Jiabao Industry (Group) Co., Ltd.
