1996年日本FRP产量达458200t,比1995年增长约4%,比1986年增长约69%。 1996年日本FRP各个应用领域产量如下:建筑为41500t,占9.1%;住宅为218600t,占17.7%;舟艇、船舶为24200t,占5.3%;汽车、车辆为21700t,占4.7%;罐体、容器为占13100t,占9.4%;工业为57600t;占12.6%;杂品为39100t,占8.5%;其他类为12400t,占2.7%。 1996年日本FRP主要加工成型方法所占比例如下:手糊法占18%,喷射法占20%,模压8%,喷射法占42%,其他压挤法占4%,纤维缠绕法占7%,连续成型法占4%,其他法占5%。
