《大学英语教学大纲》要求:学生要有较强的阅读能力,一定的听和译的能力以及初步写和说的能力。使学生能以英语为工具,获取专业所需的信息。然而听、说、读、写、译无论哪种能力,如果没有足够的词汇量,这些技能的培养和提高就会成为无源之水,无本之木。因而如何加强词汇教学,扩大学生的词汇量,使学生的英语水平从根本上得到提高,是摆在公共英语教师前面紧迫而又关键的问题。1 英语词汇教学存在的问题
The Syllabus for College English Requirements: Students should have a strong reading ability, a certain degree of listening and translating ability, and the ability to write and speak initially. Enable students to use English as a tool to get the information they need for their profession. However, listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation no matter what kind of ability, if there is not enough vocabulary, training and improvement of these skills will become passive water, woodless.
