今年是《中华人民共和国民族区域自治法》(以下简称民族区域自治法)颁布实施20周年。民族区域自治法的颁布实施,为我国实行民族区域自治的基本政治制度提供了法制保障,是社会主义民族法制建设的一座里程碑。我省是一个多民族的省份,进一步贯彻实施民族区域自治法,更好地坚持和完善民族区域政治制度,促进我省民族地区经济和社会的快速发展,是我们当前和今后的重要任务。
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the promulgation and implementation of the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Ethnic Regional Autonomy” (hereinafter referred to as the “Law of Regional National Autonomy”). The promulgation and implementation of the law of regional autonomy for ethnic minorities has provided legal guarantee for the implementation of the basic political system of regional autonomy for ethnic minorities in our country and is a milestone in the construction of the socialist national legal system. Our province is a multi-ethnic province. It is our present and future important task to further implement the Law of Regional National Autonomy, to better uphold and improve the political system in the ethnic regions and to promote the rapid economic and social development in our ethnic areas.
