《普通高中英语课程标准(实验)》指出:普通高中英语课程要在义务教育英语课程的基础上,帮助学生打好有助于今后升学、就业和终身学习或使用英语所必需的共同语言能力基础,培养学生作为21世纪公民所应具备的基本英语素养。高中英语课程应强调在进一步发展学生综合语言运用能力的基础上,注重提高中学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力和跨文化交际的能力。
The Common Senior High School English Curriculum Criteria (Experiment) states: Based on the English course of compulsory education, ordinary high school English courses help students to lay the foundation for the common language ability necessary for further study, employment and lifelong learning or to use English , Cultivate students as 21st century citizens should have the basic English literacy.
