法国深部地质学计划(GPF)第一阶段的钻探开始于1984～1985年,其主要目的是调查花岗岩的背斜层、地球化化学的有关方面以及矿床的成因。第二阶段钻探始于1985—1986年,其目的是勘探目前基岩范围内的地热温泉的“根部”(泉底)。这项计划通过无数次实验研究取得了许多重大进展,获得了不少新的数据资料。第三阶段钻探计划将于1986—1987年完成,其目的是对地磁进行调查研究。
The first phase of the French Deep Geological Program (GPF) drilling started between 1984 and 1985 with the main purpose of investigating the genesis of granite anticlines, geochemical aspects and deposits. The second stage of drilling started in 1985-1986 with the aim of exploring the “roots” (springs) of geothermal hot springs presently within the bedrock. The program has made many major advances through countless experimental studies, and many new data have been obtained. The third phase of the drilling program will be completed in 1986-1987 with the aim of conducting surveys on geomagnetism.
