This article reports the results of a 17-year malaria antibody survey conducted by inhabitants of two monitoring sites and children under 15 years of age in the endemic area of Vivax malaria, using the IFA test. There was a positive correlation between the incidence of malaria and the positive rate of malaria in the population (r = 0.70, P <0.01). The positive rate of malaria antibody in migrant population was significantly different from that of the local malaria antibody (U = 11). 87, P <0,01). Since the malaria elimination was basically completed in 1986, the prevalence of antibody at the end of the annual epidemic season was 0.03% -4.26% and that of children was 0-3.5%. This shows that the spread of malaria has been effectively controlled. Between 1985 and 1993, the annual incidence of malaria antibodies in malaria-endemic seasons was very low. The recovery rate is higher. This shows that the IFA test can be used to monitor the prevalence of malaria and to evaluate the effectiveness of antimalarial measures.
