Apple spider mite (Panonychus ulmi Koch), hawthorn spider mite (Tetianychus vienensis Zacher), commonly known as apple spider mites and hawthorn spider mites, is one of the major pests in apple producing areas in China. In recent years, with the use of a few broad-spectrum single pesticides, a large number of natural enemies of mites were killed in large quantities. In addition, the spider mites themselves became resistant to rampant spider mites. Longnan in our province, Longdong, Tianshui, Lanzhou and other regions, spider mites have risen to the dominant species of orchard pests.
