自主学习是以建构主义认知心理学和人本主义心理学为基础的,具体地讲,就是学生能够自己决定学习目标、确定学习内容和进度、选择学习方法和技巧、监控习得过程及自我评估学习效果。在英语教学中要培养和提高学生自主学习的能力,教师从以教授知识为主,变为以指导、辅导学生的学习为主,由舞台上的主角变成幕后导演,成为学生建构意义的帮助者、指导者。这种帮助、指导作用体现在:创设合作的情境;教师适时引导,促进学生自主学习的能力发展;变换课堂教学方式,促成自主学习能力的提高;培养习惯,还学生学习的自由。
Autonomous learning is based on constructivist cognitive psychology and humanistic psychology.
