我原名刘翠英,1931年与徐特立老人的儿子徐厚本结婚。厚本十几岁就在长沙大修车厂当工人。1938年春,我和厚本一道去延安,进入陕北公学学习,毕业后返回湖南工作。归途中,厚本不幸患病,医治无效,不久便去世了。厚本的胞兄笃本在大革命时期牺牲了,徐老夫人为此悲痛欲绝,多年神志失常。其他4个哥哥(厚本排行第六)自幼夭亡。现在,徐老夫妇又失去了他们留在人世唯一的儿子,该是多么痛心啊!徐老夫人是历尽人
My former name was Liu Cuiying, married to Xu Houben, the oldest son of Xu Teli, in 1931. Thick Ben teens overhaul depot as workers in Changsha. In the spring of 1938, I went to Yan’an with a thick capital and entered northern Shaanxi for study in public schools. After graduation, I returned to work in Hunan. On the way home, the thick of the unfortunate illness, cure invalid, and soon died. The other four older brothers (ranked sixth thick) died young. Now, Xu old couple have lost their only son to stay in the world, what a distress ah!
