热液矿床的蚀变类型很多 ,有钾化 (包括钾长石化和黑云母化 )、绢云母化、硅化、粘土化、绿泥石化、碳酸盐化及青盘岩化等 ,但大部分为成矿前或成矿后蚀变 ,只有硅化为成矿时蚀变 .对硅化蚀变来说 ,它的交代作用时间很长 ,从高温到低温可进一步分为早期阶段硅化、中期阶段硅化及中晚期阶段硅化 .早期阶段为高温硅化 ,主要与锡、钨及钼等矿化有关 ;中期阶段为中温硅化 ,主要与铜矿化有关 ;中晚期阶段为中低温硅化 ,主要与铜、金、锌、铅及铀等矿化有关 .
