丹江口市六里坪镇地处鄂西北部,属贫困山区。现任该镇中学校长许秋凌、副校长肖维良同志,多次放弃调回武汉市的机会,一心扎根深山甘当“孩子王”,至今已在山区教育事业上辛勤耕耘了20多个春秋。不恋大城市,扎根穷山区,甘当“孩子王”,精心育英才。个中缘由何在?已过不惑之年头发黑白参半的许校长坦诚直言:人贵有情。这里的乡亲和领导待我们不是亲人胜似亲人。在这里从教,比在武汉作用更大,更有意义。
