汪季琦同志因病于1984年2月4日在京逝世,享年75岁。汪季琦同志1931年入党,曾任南京地下党互济会负责人、西北农学院教授等职。在长期的地下工作中,领导学生运动,营救革命同志,并在文教、科技、经济界中做了大量工作,很有成绩。解放后,是五届全国政协委员,历任上海市工务局副局长、同济大学教授、科联上海分会秘书长、北京工业建筑设计院和建筑科学研究院副院长、建工部技术情报局副局
Comrade Wang Jiqi died of illness in Beijing on February 4, 1984 at the age of 75. Comrade Wang Jiqi joined the party in 1931 and served as the head of the Nanjing Underground Party Masoch Association and a professor at the Northwest Agricultural College. In the long-term underground work, he led the student movement, rescued the revolutionary comrades, and did a great deal of work in the culture, education, science and technology, and economic circles. After the liberation, he was a member of the Fifth National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. He served successively as deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Works Bureau, professor of Tongji University, secretary general of the Shanghai Branch of the CSIU, vice president of the Beijing Institute of Industrial Architectural Design and Construction Sciences, and vice director of the Bureau of Construction and Technology of the Ministry of Construction and Technology. Bureau
