铁西区是全国著名的密集型工业区,已有80多年的工业发展历史。全区面积39.33平方公里,人口近80万,共辖20个街道办事处,现有工业企业935个。1995年12月20日我区以96.37分的高分通过了初保省级审评,提前5年实现HFA/2000规划目标,较好地完成了国家工业城区初保试点任务。 我区区委、区政府对初保工作十分重视,把初保工作纳入政府工作中,作为党和政府密切联系群众,为群众做好事、办实事的一项重要内容。为此,我区重点抓了以下两方面工作:
Tiexi District is a famous intensive industrial zone in the country and has more than 80 years of industrial development history. With an area of 39.33 square kilometers and a population of nearly 800,000, the district has jurisdiction over 20 sub-district offices and 935 industrial enterprises. On December 20th, 1995, our district passed the provincial primary review with a high score of 96.37 points, achieved the HFA/2000 planning target five years ahead of schedule, and successfully completed the pilot project for the initial insurance of the national industrial city. The district and district committees and district governments of our country attach great importance to the primary security work, and include the initial protection work in the government work. This is an important part of the party and the government in liaising closely with the masses and doing good and practical work for the masses.
