认知语言学的两个主要共识：概括性共识和认知共识[1](Lakoff 1990：40)。概括性共识是指人类语言的普遍原则。认知共识，通俗来说，就是从人类大脑的认知的角度对语言学的研究。那么，我们对于侧面义的识解也是基于此。从侧面义与传统的一词多义的区别出发，以认知的角度，阐述了其自主性和统一性。对于侧面义的探讨，其实就是对一词多义的细化，也是对传统语言学认知的升华。","Cognitive linguistic includes two commitments, and we call them the Generalization Commitment and the Cognitive Commitment. The Generalization Commitment refers to universal principles of human language. The Cognitive Commitment, generaly speaking, is to make one`s account of human language accord with the mind and the brain. And we make construal on this point. We demonstrate the autonomy and unifying of facets based on the difference between facet and polysemy. In fact, facet is refinement and sublimation of polysemy for traditional linguistics.
