In this paper, 218 cases of colorectal cancer surgery patients were observed to investigate the perioperative factors affecting postoperative infection complications. The results showed that there was a very significant positive correlation between perioperative blood transfusion and postoperative infection (P<0.001), and there were 50 postoperative infections (35%) among 142 patients who received blood transfusion, and 76 patients did not receive Only 6 patients (8%) had postoperative infections. The age, sex, blood loss, surgical methods, tumor differentiation, hemoglobin content, operation time and other factors had no significant correlation with postoperative infection (P>0.05). It suggests that perioperative blood transfusion is an independent and important risk factor for the occurrence of postoperative infection in colorectal cancer.
