飞行二分部机长童征华同志在不到一年的时间里,先后(?)次及时发现空中两机危险接近,并且妥善处理,多次受到公司、东航、民航华东管理局和民航总局的通报表彰和嘉奖。这在我们公司飞行安全史上还是第一次,为公司飞行安全工作做出了重要贡献。1999年9月22日,童征华机长带领副驾驶刘辉、关柏川执行南京至重庆至昆明 MU5447航班。在重庆起飞前往昆明途中,天气比较复杂,高度7200米,还在云中飞行,能见度很低。机组成员全神贯注地观察着机上荧光屏,不敢有丝毫马虎。这时机组从雷达上发现正前方4海里处
