The study on the lacustrine sedimentary paleoclimate is based on the information of the age, period and recurrence of paleoearthquake based on the lake sedimentary disturbance caused by the earthquake induced by the paleoearthquakes. Lake sedimentation has the characteristics of continuous sedimentation process, relatively stable depositional environment, large lateral distribution of strata, and easy accumulation of organic matter. Therefore, the study of lacustrine sedimentary paleoearthquakes can effectively avoid the absence of paleoseismic information, and the modern testing methods are seismic events Sediment identification provides quantitative support for the evidence, while enrichment of organic matter provides ample samples for accurate ~ (14) C dating. The study of paleoearthquakes in lacustrine sediments is an important complement to the study of paleochannels in conventional trench exploration and is an important direction for the study of paleoseismology in the future. This paper summarizes the contents, methods, experimental methods and existing problems of the research on the paleoearthquakes in lacustrine sediments. It provides a more comprehensive and basic understanding of the research on lacustrine sedimentary paleoseismicity.
