滇是彝族的主要聚集地,彝族民间武术曾经在这个地方广为流传,并深受当地人民喜爱。传统体育“大刀舞”是旧时彝族民间武术的一个缩影,也是彝族传统体育文化的主要内容。彝族传统体育“大刀舞”集宗教、民俗、生产、娱乐于一体,是了解和认识彝族文化的重要途径。本文运用文献资料、田野考察等方法,从人类学和民族学的角度出发,对“大刀舞”的特殊外在表现形式、独特的遗留形式进行系统分析,阐释彝族传统体育“大刀舞”的开展情况,探讨在漫长发展过程中逐渐形成的多元文化特点。
