1958年,河北省徐水县成为当时“国热”的中心之一,群众可贵的热情被引上了一条错误的道路——大跃进,搞浮夸风;公社化,刮共产风。时光流逝、物换星移。20多年过去了,徐水现在是个什么样子呢?我们可以先用数字做一比较,1991年与1985年和改革开放之初的1980年相比:1991年,工农业总产值100216万元,比1985年增长88.2%,是1980年的4.45倍;国民收入50124万元,比1985年增长62.7%,是1980年的3.83倍;财政收入3544.7万元,是1985年的1.58倍,是1980年的3.94倍;农村人均收入640元,是1985年的1.35倍,是1980年的10倍。
