由中国硅酸盐学会举办的中国古代陶瓷科学技术第二届国际讨论会于1985年11月15日至20日在北京召开。国务委员方毅同志关怀这次会议,亲自与会,并和大家一起合影留念。中国硅酸盐学会丁原副理事长主持了开幕式,理事长、中国科学院副院长严东生致开幕词,本届会议顾问委员会委员、美国麻省理工学院教授W.D.Kingery讲了话,国际友人路易·艾黎先生来信祝贺,国家建材局林汉雄局长作了闭幕总结,中国硅酸盐学会副理事长徐卓然主持了闭幕式,国家建材局副局长王燕谋、张人为等都参加了会议。
The 2nd International Symposium on Ancient Chinese Ceramic Science and Technology organized by Chinese Society of Silicate was held in Beijing from November 15 to November 20, 1985. Comrade Fang Yi, member of State Council, took care of this meeting personally and took a group photo with everyone. Ding Yuan, vice chairman of Chinese Silicate Society, chaired the opening ceremony. Director and CAS Vice-President Yan Dongsheng delivered an opening speech. Member of the Advisory Committee of the current session, professor WD Kingery of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, made a speech. · Mr. Ai Li sent a letter of congratulation. Director Lin Hanxiong of National Building Materials Bureau concluded the closing ceremony. Xu Zhuoran, vice chairman of China Silicate Society, presided over the closing ceremony. Wang Yanmou, deputy director of State Building Materials Bureau and Zhang Renwei attended the meeting.
