在绵阳市南郊机场开工建设一周年之际,本刊记者再次来到南郊机场,采访一支在施工中冒酷暑、斗严寒、抢晴天、战高温,提前80多天完成了合同段的施工任务的施工队伍,他们就是被南郊机场总公司称为“铁军”的铁道部第十八工程局第四工程处。铁十八局第四工程处是国家一级施工企业,其资质为铁路综合工程施工一级,具有承建铁路、公路、水利水电、工业与民用建筑、设备安装等工程的综合施工能力。现有职工2778人,其中专业技术人员560人(高级12人,中级221人),职工平均技术等级五级以上。现有资产总额5.8亿元,各类机械设备678台(套),年施工能力10亿元以上。铁十八局第四处原系铁道兵第八师三十九团,
