海南省电力有限公司是海南省人民政府出资设立的国有独资有限责任公司,注册资本为120000万元。公司所属供电公司19个,直属发电厂2个,直属单位10个,控股的发电公司2个。公司负责对全省电网实施统一规划、统一建设、统一调度、统一管理。为了深化电力企业改革,实现政企分开和适应市场经济需要,1997年8月25日,省政府决定撤销省电力工业局;1999年3月4日,又宣布解散海南电业股份有限公司,同年5月27日正式成立海南省电力有限公司。自1988年建省以来,由于省政府非常重视基础设施建设,尤其是电力设施的建设,海南省电力工业得到了突飞猛进的发展。先后建
Hainan Electric Power Co., Ltd. is a wholly state-owned limited liability company funded and established by the People’s Government of Hainan Province with a registered capital of 1.2 billion yuan. The company has 19 power supply companies, 2 directly-owned power plants, 10 directly-owned units, and 2 power generation companies. The company is responsible for implementing unified planning, unified construction, unified dispatching, and unified management of the province’s power grid. In order to deepen the reform of power companies and realize the separation of government and enterprises and meet the needs of the market economy, on August 25, 1997, the provincial government decided to cancel the Provincial Power Industry Bureau; on March 4, 1999, it announced the dissolution of Hainan Electric Power Co., Ltd. in the same year.
