芜湖长江大桥2000年9月30日建成通车。 芜湖长江大桥是国家“九五”重点工程,是迄今我国规模最大的一座公路、铁路两用桥。铁路桥为Ⅰ级双线,长10624.4m;公路桥为4车道,宽18m,两侧人行道分别宽1.5 m,全长6078.4m。跨江正桥长2193m,公路桥、铁路桥分上下两层。该桥于1997年3月开工兴建,工程浩大;混凝土总量56万m~3,钢材用量11万t,总工程量相当于南京和武汉长江大桥的总和。工程总造价为281亿元;工期短、质量好。 芜湖长江大桥工程难度大、科技含量高,在设计、施工等方面采用了很多新技术、新材料、、新结构、新工艺,
Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge was completed and opened to traffic on September 30, 2000. Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge is a national “Nine Five” key project, is by far the largest of our country a highway, railway dual-purpose bridge. The railway bridge is Grade I double lane, with a length of 10624.4m. The road bridge is 4 lanes with a width of 18m. The sidewalks on both sides are 1.5m wide and 6078.4m in length. Across Jiangzheng Bridge length 2193m, highway bridge, railway bridge points up and down two floors. The bridge started construction in March 1997, a huge project; total concrete 560,000 m ~ 3, the amount of steel 110,000 t, the total amount of the equivalent of Nanjing and Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge sum. The total project cost is 28.1 billion yuan; short construction period and good quality.
