Objective: To observe the effect of inhaled salbutamol on airway hyperresponsiveness in children with bronchial asthma. Methods: Sixty children with bronchial asthma were randomly divided into two groups. Patients in the control group received intravenous infusion of aminophylline and hydrocortisone succinate, antispasmodic therapy, antiasthmatic and oxygen therapy. Antibiotics were used in patients with bronchial asthma. The rats in the control group were treated with salbutamol inhalation. The changes of Peak Exiratory Flow (PEF) and Peak Experatory Flow Variability (BEF) were observed and compared before and after treatment. Results: The PEF of bronchial asthma children in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05), PEFV was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: Inhaled inhalation of salbutamol can significantly enhance the lung function and reduce airway hyperresponsiveness in children with bronchial asthma.
