在五四运动80周年到来之际,中国社会科学院文学研究所所长杨义同志,撰写了学术专论——《五四运动与现代中国人文建设》。论文系统、深入地考察了五四新文化运动的伟大历史功绩、文化姿态、精神方式和文化行动哲学,在深度上对五四进行还原研究的同时,还在广度上对五四(包括内五四、旁五四、后五四)进行参照研究。提出我们“应该以创造精神来继承和超越五四”。全文约1.8万字,分8个部分。本刊因篇幅所限,征得作者同意,选载第八部分。标题是编者加的。
