提出了一种能产生双纵模的双频微片激光器。理论分析了微片激光器纵模生成的原理,并且通过实验实现了微片激光器的双频双纵模输出。实验结果表明,通过调节泵浦电流LD的大小,频差在一定范围内变化;当抽运电流为14.5A时,得到稳定的双频激光输出,相应的频差为85GHz;继续增加抽运电流,频差将逐渐减小,当抽运电流为19.5A时,相应的频差为53GHz。本文的双频激光器在光生毫米波领域有很大用处。
A dual-frequency microchip laser capable of generating dual longitudinal modes is proposed. The principle of longitudinal mode generation of the microchip laser is theoretically analyzed, and the dual-frequency dual longitudinal mode output of the microchip laser is experimentally realized. Experimental results show that, by adjusting the size of the pump current LD, the frequency difference changes within a certain range; when the pumping current is 14.5A, a stable dual-frequency laser output is obtained, with a corresponding frequency difference of 85GHz; continue to increase the pumping current , The frequency difference will gradually decrease, when the pumping current is 19.5A, the corresponding frequency difference is 53GHz. The dual-band laser in this article is of great use in the field of photo-generated millimeter waves.
