Last year I was elected as the most popular movie star in the UK. Needless to say, I certainly feel proud and somewhat unworthy of it. I’m also very interested in the term movie star. This is one of the worst names used by newspapers and audiences. The newspaper added the term “movie star” to a five-year-old boy, or even a dog. Personally, I am not very outward-looking, but not very handsome, but I have been trained as a performer and I am a movie actor. Perhaps the difficulty with stage work is that dogs can also act as movie stars, making it hard for movie stars to get involved in theaters in the UK. I remember that not too long ago, at a banquet, a famous stage director told me that anyone who plays a movie is not worthy of being an actor. To be honest, I feel very frustrated.
