With the progress of the times and education, the education industry in our country has reached an all-time high. Nowadays, more and more college students in our country make the employment of college graduates more and more serious. In this context, vocational colleges must innovate the training model of qualified personnel to improve the market competitiveness of graduates, and then ensure the all-round development of students. Based on the discussion of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges, this paper explores the significance of the combination of work and study on the development of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges. Then it puts forward the effective measures to innovate the ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges. As an important base for personnel training, higher vocational colleges are an important driving force for promoting social development.
