经盆栽和田间试验结果表明,红壤施用石灰不但能降低土壤酸度,并能显著提高玉米的产量和肥料利用率。盆栽玉米地上部干物质重量提高59.8%~156.5%;1989和1995年,大田玉米的籽粒产量分别提高8.2%~14.6%和19.1%~43.1%,N、P、K的肥料利用率分别提高11.2%~16.1%和21.2%~47.3%、27.6%~39.5%和16.5%~30.0%、6.8%~19.1%和4.8%~55.9%。要获得较高的玉米产量和肥料利用率,土壤pH须提高至6.0以上,而交换性铝降至1.0cmol(+)/kg以下。
The results of potted and field experiments showed that application of lime in red soil could not only reduce the soil acidity, but also significantly increase the corn yield and fertilizer utilization rate. The dry matter weight of above-ground corn increased by 59.8% ~ 156.5% in the potted maize. In 1989 and 1995, the grain yield of field corn increased by 8.2% ~ 14.6% and 19.1% ~ 43.1%, respectively, Fertilizer utilization rates of N, P and K increased by 11.2% -16.1% and 21.2% -47.3%, 27.6% -39.5% and 16.5% -30.0%, respectively, , 6.8% -19.1% and 4.8% -55.9%. In order to obtain higher corn yield and fertilizer utilization, the pH of the soil should be increased above 6.0 while exchangeable aluminum should drop below 1.0 cmol (+) / kg.
