上颌窦穿刺抽吸对伴有上颌窦X线平片异常表现的不明原因发热诊断价值及其适应证尚未明确。该作者回顾分析34例伴上颌窦X线片异常的不明原因发热的上颌窦穿刺抽吸sl侧次结果。发现具有典型上颌窦炎症状者细菌培养结果多为阳性，占86．4％；无上颌窦炎症状者则只有8．3％细菌培养
The diagnostic value and indications of maxillary sinus aspiration for unexplained fever associated with abnormal X-ray findings of maxillary sinus are not yet clear. The authors retrospectively analyzed 34 patients with unexplained fever with maxillary sinus X-ray abnormalities on maxillary sinus aspirate sl side results. Bacterial cultures were found to be mostly positive in patients with symptoms of maxillary sinusitis, accounting for 86.4%; those with no symptoms of maxillary sinusitis only had 8.3% of bacterial cultures
