据调查,危害水稻的害虫有150多种。在我国南方各水稻产区,发生普遍且危害严重的有二化螟、三化螟、稻纵卷叶螟、白背飞虱、褐飞虱、粘虫、黑尾叶蝉、稻蓟马等数种。水稻生育期不同,害虫发生的种类和危害程度也不完全相同。一般年份,早稻秧田以黑尾叶蝉为主,本田分蘖期主要为二化螟,穗期除二化螟外,还有稻纵卷叶螟、黑尾叶蝉、白背飞虱。晚稻秧田期,处于高温高湿季节,害虫发生的种类和危害较早稻秧田多而严重,主要有稻蓟马、黑尾叶蝉、稻螟蛉,杂交水稻
