四川广安是世纪伟人邓小平的故乡,应在西部大开发中走在前列。为此,广安市广安区人武部积极响应党中央实施西部大开发的号召,抓住这一有利时机,组织机关全体人员认真学习“中共中央关于实施西部大开发战略决策”的有关精神,号召全区民兵预备役人员全力投入到西部大开发战略行动中去,充分发挥民兵预备役人员在两个文明建设中的作用。根据广安实际情况,具体提出了发挥好四个方面的作用:
