地方院校英语专业学生在发展的过程中往往遇到知识面狭窄、创新能力不强和逻辑思维欠缺等主观方面的问题,同时也受到地域优势欠佳、师资水平不高、教学模式单一、教学内容陈旧等客观条件的限制。如何提高地方院校英语专业学生的研究能力和综合素质,打破传统习惯性学习和教学模式,引导学生积极适应时代变化和英语专业教育规律是我们必须要解决的重大课题。这需要从提高学习策略、改变教学模式、探索英语专业办学规律、改善研究方法和整合师资力量等方面顺应英语专业学习国际化、专业化和综合化的需要,切实提高地方院校英语专业学生的研究能力。
In the course of their development, English majors in local colleges often encounter subjective problems such as narrow knowledge, weak innovation capability and lack of logical thinking. At the same time, they also suffer from sub-regional advantages, teachers’ level is not high, teaching mode is single, teaching Content obsolescence and other objective conditions. How to improve the research ability and comprehensive quality of English majors in local colleges, breaking the traditional habitual learning and teaching modes, and guiding students to adapt actively to the changes of the times and the law of English majors are major issues that we must solve. This should be based on the need to improve the learning strategies, change the teaching mode, explore the law of running English majors, improve the research methods and integrate teacher resources, and so on, so as to meet the need of internationalization, specialization and integration of English majors and effectively improve the English majors’ Research capacity.
