Winning the Pulitzer Prize, sensationalization of the United States and set off a worldwide “root” hot “masterpiece” is an amazing book, but also a hard-translated book. Shortly after the publication of the book in the United States, Chinese readers across the oceans could see the Chinese translation of the book in time. The contributions of the six translators, namely Chen Yao Guang and Dong Yibo, were remarkable. The Chinese translation shows the Chinese readers the history of Alex Halle, a generation of seven generations, reflecting the suffering and bravery of African Americans over two hundred years. It arouses people’s concern and support for their heroic struggles against the plight of Negroes. Nearly 600,000 words of translation language, in the vast, “translated Lin”, but also demonstrate its own unique style.
