城市街道党的建设是党的基层组织建设的重要组成部分。当前,随着改革开放和社会主义现代化建设的发展,特别是在建立社会主义市场经济体制和深化城市各项改革的过程中,许多问题需要街道来解决,衔道承担的任务越来越繁重,所起的作用越来越大,相应地对街道党建工作的要求也越来越高。适应新形势下城市街道工作的特点和要求,以经济建设为中心,围绕搞好城市管理、社会服务,保持社会稳定和发展街道经济,进一步加强街道党的建设,充分发挥街道党组织和党员的作用,显得尤为重要。近年来,全省各地就如何搞好街道党的建设,充分发挥街道党组织和党员的作用,保证和促进街道两个文明建设的全面发展,进行了积极有益的探索,收到了良好效果。本刊将分两期把鞍山市铁东区对炉街道党工委、锦州市凌河区委开展街道党建工作的经验介绍给读者,望大家从中得到启示,进一步做好街道党建工作。
