目的研究雌激素受体(ER)在人类垂体腺瘤中的表达及其与垂体腺瘤临床特征及所分泌激素类型的关系。方法直用免疫组化S-P法和原位杂交法检测55例垂体腺瘤中ER蛋白及ERmKNA的表达,并采用S-P法对其中53例标本进行激素分型。结果在不同性别及不同病程垂体腺瘤患者中,ER蛋白及ERmRNA在肿瘤组织中的表达差异无显著性。不同体积垂体腺瘤中,ER蛋白及ERmRNA表达阳性率有随肿瘤体积增大而增高的趋势,但ER蛋白表达仅在大腺瘤组和巨大腺瘤组具有显著差异(P<005)。53例大腺瘤及巨大腺瘤中,部分PRL、FSH、LH单激素腺瘤及部分多激素腺瘤有ER蛋白及ERmRNA表达,而全部GH、ACTH、TSH单激素腺瘤均无ER蛋白及ERmRNA表达,4例无功能腺瘤均无ER蛋白表达,仅1例有ERmRNA表达。结论垂体腺瘤患者的性别和病程不影响肿瘤组织中ER的表达。推删:ER蛋白及ERmRNA表达与垂体腺瘤的高增殖性及垂体腺瘤的激素分泌类型有关。
Objective To study the expression of estrogen receptor (ER) in human pituitary adenomas and its relationship with the clinical features and the type of secreted hormones. Methods The expression of ER protein and ERmKNA in 55 cases of pituitary adenomas were detected by immunohistochemical S-P method and in situ hybridization. Fifty-three of the specimens were excised by S-P method. Results There was no significant difference in the expression of ER protein and ER mRNA between the patients with different stages and different stages of pituitary adenomas. The positive rate of ER protein and ER protein in different volume of pituitary adenomas tended to increase with the increase of tumor volume. However, the expression of ER protein was only significantly different between macroadenoma group and giant adenoma group (P <0.05). In 53 cases of large adenoma and giant adenoma, some of the PRL, FSH, LH mononuclear adenomas and some of the multi-hormone adenomas had ER and ERmRNA expressions, while none of the GH, ACTH and TSH mononuclear adenomas had ER protein and ER mRNA expression, 4 cases of non-functioning adenoma ER protein expression, only 1 case of ERmRNA expression. Conclusion The gender and duration of pituitary adenomas do not affect the expression of ER in tumor tissues.
