2010年8月6日至日,来自海内外的八极名家在上海精武馆举行了隆重议。本次八极门人的聚会,有5项任务要做要议,第一是为著名八极拳家郝鸿昌生举办百年诞辰纪念会;第项是成立吴钟八极拳研究会第3项、第4项、第5项是决定三件大事:一是为祖师吴钟修墓立碑,二是为八极拳各支系名家立碑;三是编纂《八极拳总谱》。这次盛会,被八极拳各系门人称之为“上海会议”而载入八极拳的历史。八极拳祖师吴钟(字弘声),回族,山东海丰(庆云县)后庄科人,生于清雍正十年二月初三寅时,卒于清道光二年(1732——1822),享年九十岁。据清同治十二年(1874)直隶抢县罗疃《八极拳谱》记载:吴钟把一生所学各种拳法、器械进行
From August 6, 2010 to August 18, eight famous people from home and abroad held a grand discussion in Shanghai Jingwu Hall.
