解放军医学图书馆(简称军图)诞生于1990年5月.在开馆迄今的6年多时间里,虽然该馆的发展举步维艰,却一步一个脚印,向世界一流水平迈进,赢得了众多国内外同行的关注和赞赏.日前,笔者就军图发展中遇到的问题和对策采访了该馆馆长庄士彬.回顾军图发展中遇到的问题,庄馆长谈了四点:一是经费短缺,严重制约了文献资源的建设;二是信息凝滞,严重浪费了大量宝贵的财富;三是观念沉痼,严重束缚了追逐变革的脚步;四是思考肤浅,被信息大潮弄昏了头脑.庄士彬在分析这四个问题时说,经费短缺,具有客观普遍性,这是国家经济状况决定的,不能说唯独军图是这样.信息凝滞,是图书馆的通病,军图也不例外,70余万册藏书中,绝大部分没能流动,未能转化为有价值的信息资源.观念沉痼,主要表现在死守藏
