Editor’s note: The large-scale revision of the Code of Civil Procedure and the Code of Criminal Procedure is an important event in the process of the transformation of the rule of law in China. It is an unshirkable academic mission to propose constructive technical norms in view of the important procedural issues in the procedural law revision process. Our special column for this promotion of young scholars in the process of revising the knowledge of the truth
