专刊副刊是报纸的“半壁江山”。专刊副刊办得好,可以给报纸增色、添趣,使报纸可读、耐读,增强报纸的竞争力。《工人日报》的副刊《人生驿站》(原名《人生之旅》)在诸多专刊副刊中可称为佼佼者,受到报界同行的称赞和许多读者的喜爱。《人生驿站》副刊有三个特点:一、定位准确、恰当。新闻定位,是专刊副刊的生命。没有准确、恰当的定位,就不能引起读者的注目,在报业竞争中就站不住脚跟。定位,就是明确办刊宗旨,界定本刊内容,找准读者对象,有针对性地制定编辑方针,使自己的专刊副刊显示其相对的独立性和鲜明的个性。《人生驿站》好就好在定位准确、恰当。它根据母体,即《工人日报》的办报方针和读者群来确定本
