Quimumaño was born in Barcelona in 1952 and is a famous Spanish writer and journalist. He mostly writes in Catalan (Catalan is one of the official languages of Catalonia in Barcelona), and some works are written in Spanish. In the early seventies of the last century, he began to publish reports in newspapers and magazines in Vietnam about Vietnam, Cambodia, Northern Ireland and East Africa. His first novel was published in 1976. Monza’s major works include novels, short stories and essays. He lives in Barcelona and has a column in the Pioneer newspaper. The 2007 Frankfurt Book Fair selected Catalan literature as its theme and Munoz, one of the Catalan literary representatives, delivered an opening address in the book fair. Different from the traditional speech, he specially designed the speech as a little story,
