Since 1991, our hospital has applied endoscopic cryotherapy to 40 cases of anastomotic stenosis after esophageal and cardiac cancer surgery, and received satisfactory results. The report is as follows. First, general information: 35 males and 5 females, aged 30 to 70 years, average 58.3 years old. There were 25 cases of esophageal cancer, 14 cases of cardiac cancer, and 1 case of esophageal carcinosarcoma.
