本文分析了酒店英语的课程性质和特点,指出酒店英语有着广阔的应用前景。现在高职高专的酒店英语教学中普遍存在学生的英语基础较弱,高职高专酒店英语教师缺乏专业性,酒店英语的课堂教学目标比较混乱,学生缺乏对酒店英语的学习兴趣的问题。可以通过培养学生对于酒店英语的学习兴趣,培养学生的英语基础,明确酒店英语教学目标,加强教师队伍酒店专业性的培养来提高酒店英语的教学效果。
This article analyzes the nature and characteristics of hotel English courses, pointed out that Hotel English has broad application prospects. Nowadays, there is a general weakness in students’ English teaching in higher vocational colleges and universities. The lack of professionalism in hotel English teachers in higher vocational colleges, the confusion of classroom teaching in hotel English, and the lack of interest in learning English in hotel. By cultivating students ’interest in hotel English, cultivating students’ English foundation, clarifying hotel English teaching objectives and strengthening the professional training of hotel teachers to improve the teaching effect of hotel English.
